Dr. Surya Gayet - Trapped in the Matrix: Your Experience of the World is an Illusion Created by Your Brain

In his talks, Dr. Gayet dismantles the foundations of your existence, by demonstrating how your conscious experience of the world around you (and within you), are a fabrication of your brains. Dr. Gayet is a cognitive neuroscientist and experimental psychologist at Utrecht University, who studies human consciousness, attention, perception, and memory. Surya published more than 40 scientific papers in the last decade, using machine learning, physiological measurements, behavioural methods, and neuro-imaging (functional MRI and electroencephalography) to unravel one of the biggest mysteries of the mind: how electrical signals in our brains generate a conscious experience of the world we live in.
